Basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson celebrates his 53rd birthday today and believe it or not he’s recognized more for what he has done off the court than on the court. Of course he’s an All-Star MVP, NBA champion, and a Gold Medal Olympian, but he’s also a savvy businessman.

Magic Johnson has used his celebrity and keen business sense to found Magic Johnson Enterprises, a 700 million dollar company that has created jobs and brought hope to many urban cities around the country.
