Jada Koren Pinkett Smith, September 18

When you hear the name Jada Pinket Smith, normally you think of the wife of Will Smith or the mother of  Jaden & Willow.But she had a pretty successful career way before she took on more of a full-time domestic role. I think the first time I saw Jada was in a Different World and from that moment I have always been a fan of hers. Of course, she’s played in some high profile movies over the years like Set It Off, The Matrix , Ali and Collateral with Jamie Fox and Tom Cruise. But believe or not, one of my favorite characters she played is Peaches opposite Kennan Ivory Wayans in A Low Down Dirty Shame.( lol…you know that was a funny movie)

Although, the TV show Hawthorne didn’t last as long as I expected, I’m still looking forward to seeing her back again on the tube or silver screen soon.
