Can you hear me now? This has been the phrase I’ve had to use consistently for the last few years while trying to have a conversation on my cell phone. I’m pretty sure that most people I’ve talked to over the past 22 months ranging from family & friends to clients & customers have ruled me off as rude lady with terrible wireless reception.
To be honest the only reason why I’m still with my current wireless company is because I really don’t want to change my number and plus I’m still under contract. Nevertheless there is a light at the end of the tunnel, because I have just 2 short months until I will be able to break free from the chains of dropped calls, excessive roaming and unexpected text charges.
Recently, I did think about giving my cell phone company another chance, that was until the night I was driving home and realized I was having a meaningful conversation for 30 minutes with MYSELF! I poured out my heart that night and all of the things I didn’t have the confidence to say before, just seemed to flow out of my mouth effortlessly. For a moment I had to stop because I couldn’t believe these profound words were coming from me..I honestly felt like Oprah…it was that good.
But to my surprise after not receiving any feedback from the person on the other line; I mean not even an ok, yeah or uh huh…I knew then and there what happened. The same thing I had to deal with on and off for the last two years and that’s when I made the decision to end my relationship…with my wireless company!
My wireless company has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, just like sour milk. This video pretty much sums up how I feel, but I don’t think I could have sung it like these two people! Excellent voices with a touch of humor!
