Savvy Sistahs Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott & Jennifer Hudson will be performing on VH1′s ‘Divas Celebrate Soul’, along with singers Kelly Clarkson, Florence and the Machine and Jessie J with The Roots as house band.

VH1 announced that the “concert series will pay tribute to the great cities of soul music,”including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. These are the hometowns of some of the divas performing for the evening.

VH1′s ‘Divas Celebrate Soul will premiere December 19 at 9:00pm.

The event will benefit the VH1 Save The Music Foundation
