Sony has released the first poster for the movie ‘Sparkle’ starring American Idol winner Jordin Sparks in the lead role. The movie, which hits theaters on August 17th also stars, the late Whitney Houston, Carmen Ejogo, Cee-Lo Green, Derek Luke, Mike Epps and Omari Hardwick.

Every time I see this trailer it just builds my expectations for this movie, I can’t wait to see Sparkle.
