So, I received an email from Beyonce today and I’m pretty sure about 50 million other people did too. When I checked my inbox I noticed that at 10:56 a.m. I received a message with the subject, “I usually don’t email you” (girl you never email me)…and it was from the diva herself, Beyonce.
It didn’t take long to realize that this letter was in regards to the fundraiser, she and Jay Z are planning for Barack Obama on September 18th at the 40/40 club in NYC. She informed me that if I made a donation toward his reelection (which I already have) that I would be entered into a drawing that would give one lucky winner (and a guest) an opportunity to see how it feels to rub shoulders with people who are able to pay $40,000 to meet President Obama and First Lady Michelle.
Although my chances of winning may be 1 in 50 million, it still made me laugh to see an email from Beyonce this morning.
