Tyler Perry has put together an all-star cast of Savvy Sistahs for his next film “For Colored Girls” due in theaters on November 5, 2010.  The main characters are  Janet Jackson,Kerry Washington, Thandie Newton, Loretta Devine, Phylicia Rashad, Whoppi Goldberg, Kimberly Elise, and Anika Noni Rose. The movie is based on the play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf ” by Ntozake Shange. The play was nominated for a Tony Award in 1977  and and Trazana Beverly won for Best Actress in a Play. This trailer really touched me and I honestly think that there will be some Oscar buzz for this movie. You’ll find a summary of  the play here and the movie trailer below.
