Many people today accuse celebrities (even other celebrities) of not doing their part to help mankind. Just recently living legend Harry Belafonte blasted Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z for not doing more to help the African-American community; but today Beyonce made history when she inspired over 1 billion messages ( 1,029,763,492 to be exact) mentioning World Humanitarian Day and a pledge to help others in need.

I just really hope the people who made this pledge actually follow through, because it could make a huge difference in the world today. But remember you don’t have be a celebrity to cause a revolution and bring change to the world, you can start right in your own community.
