After hours of questioning, a jury of five women and seven men has been selected to hear the case of Michael Jackson’s doctor.
The group was asked to answer various questions about the King of Pop, including if they thought of him as childlike and how they felt about police. The panel was selected on Friday by defense attorneys, prosecutors, and a judge, and was closely guarded by bailiffs, marching 84 prospective jurors into the courtroom of Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor.
Opening statements are expected to begin on Tuesday.
In January of this year, Murray pleaded not guilt to the charge of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s 2009 death.
