For the past few days I’ve been using a 3 step regimen for even & clear skin by Ambi and I really like the outcome so far. Of course I’m not expecting unrealistic results over night, but my skin is already responding well to the products.

There are many procedures on the market today to reduce the appearance of dark spots, but they can be very costly and if you neglect your skin…they’ll be back. Trust me, a little goes a long way, so just a small amount on my finger tip covered each dark spot and faded without leaving a greasy after feel. This product is formulated with 2% Hydroquinon, which is a skin bleaching agent that works to restore skin in just 2 weeks if used as directed.

Step 3: Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer ( 3 oz.)

The final step and one of the most important in the skincare regimen is the Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer. After the skin is cleansed and the fade cream applied to the discolored areas, the moisturizer is needed to nourish and protect the skin. I have meet many women of color over years who have said they don’t where sunscreen, because they don’t need it. Although it’s a fact that darker skin is equipped with natural sun protection I still recommend using moisturizer with at least SPF 15, but SPF 30 is better.

The daily moisturizer comes with a SPF 30 and only a few pumps are needed. This product not only contains sunscreen but vitamins C & E and natural soy. One of the biggest issues I face when using sunscreen,  is that some don’t blend well with darker skin tones and they leave a white residue on your face. But I’m happy to report I didn’t experience that with the daily moisturizer and my skin didn’t feel heavy or greasy.
