It’s shampoo, conditioner and hair oil! The way you would normally wash your hair or oil your scalp is the same. Also I posted pictures of natural, relaxed and hair extensions to give you an overview of how it would react to these textures. Remember you can always go to the manufactures website or just purchase the products and read the directions on the label.
I have been relaxing my hair since I was 10 and then when I was in the Navy for 5 years I decided to put my hair in cornrows when we would go out to sea ( the water aboard a ship is horrible). When my enlistment was up my hair would grow to about shoulder length and it would break off. I have been trying all sorts of products and my hair would still break off. I made the decision that maybe I need to stop doing relaxers and just let my hair go natural for a while, but I was not sure what brand to use. It is an overwhelming decision when you are looking in stores. I saw the commercial with Heidi Klum and decided to look it up. I had in my mind that most likely there would not be anything really for my texture hair THICK AND KINKY. Then I saw a black model and the yellow bottles then I saw Tyra’s hair dresser and I heard the angels sing. I immediately went out today to get it and would you know it the majority of the stores that has been advertised to have it, does not carry it! At least not the ultra shea. I had to call around for it and I found 3 out of 4 products at the walmart up the street from me and they were completely out of the shampoo. So I decided to call around before making a special trip someplace and found the shampoo at a walgreens. So long story short, I used the oil like a hot oil treatment before washing my hair, and I just washed my hair and my hair felt super soft after rinsing it out. As I write this message the conditioner is now in my hair and it smells amazing and the conditioner was nice and creamy and I could comb through my hair. I will be using the balm a little later, so so far so good. I hope that this will help me go from relaxed to natural.

Last night I finished my hair and I was pleasantly surprised! My hair was nice and soft and there were no tangles. You don’t understand, I have really unruly hair and I could comb right through it! I blow dried it and flat ironed it and I had movement to my hair as if I just got it done at the salon. For the balm I used it to lay my edges down and to lay down any fly aways. I also put a little on the sections of my hair that I know dry out quickly, which is normally in the back and at my crown. I have to say I’m liking this product! Hopefully when I’m ready to purchase more I won’t have to go through all the drama that I had to go through last time.

There are no specific directions on how to use the balm. So i’m assuming it’s a leave-in treatment! Please leave a post for the proper method of using the balm!!!!!
