Visiting the 9/11 Memorial…We Will Never Forget!

A few years ago while in New York I went to visit the 9/11 memorial. I must admit I was a little reluctant to go at first, but later decided to go with a friend.

I guess not going, was a way of not facing the the pain associated with that day…isn’t it funny how our minds can make us rationalize not making important decisions? That’s why I went!

While waiting in line to go in (it’s was free…all they asked for was a donation but I would recommend making a reservation first) everyone was unnaturally quiet, it was a very somber experience.

I must say the memorial is absolutely beautiful but it felt like a cemetery. You could feel the pain from the lost souls and those loved ones who visited and left their tears on the grounds.

I couldn’t stay long but I took a few pictures, prayed & shed some tears for those who lost their lives that day.

Everyone in the world will remember 9/11 and 2977 victims of this violent crime. We will NEVER forget!
